trade.padre.gg — Which Padre Address Is the Real App

The short answer: the Padre application is at trade.padre.gg. The address people usually land on first — padre.gg — is the marketing site and cannot place a trade.

That one distinction is why this page exists. Trading terminals are cloned constantly, the product renamed itself in late 2025, and it now answers to two different hostnames. Here is which address does what, and how to check you are on the real one.

Which padre.gg hostname is the real Padre Terminal application, which are marketing or documentation, and which are clone patterns to avoid
Only two of these five addresses will actually place a trade.

The three padre.gg addresses

One domain, three hostnames, three jobs. Only the first one executes anything.

AddressWhat it isCan you trade there?
trade.padre.ggThe terminal — charts, order entry, portfolio, exit automationYes
padre.ggMarketing site — product claims, links into the appNo
docs.padre.ggDocumentationNo
terminal.pump.funThe same application under the Pump.fun nameYes

The last row surprises people, so we checked it rather than repeating it. On 23 August 2026 both trade.padre.gg and terminal.pump.fun served the identical JavaScript bundle — same build hash, same file. They are one application behind two names. The background to that is on the PADRE token page.

How to tell the real terminal from a clone

This is the part worth reading twice. A memecoin terminal holds signing authority over a funded wallet, which makes it a high-value target for lookalike domains. Four checks, in order of how much they protect you:

  1. Never type a seed phrase into it. The real terminal generates its wallet in-app through Turnkey and has no reason to ask for one. Any page asking you to paste a recovery phrase is a theft attempt, whatever the domain says.
  2. Reach it from your own bookmark, not from a search result, a DM or a group chat link. Save the bookmark once, on a session you are confident about, and use only that afterwards.
  3. Read the hostname character by character. Clones use padre-gg, padre.gg.com, tradepadre.gg and similar near-misses that survive a quick glance.
  4. Check the certificate is valid and the connection is HTTPS before connecting or funding anything.

We are an independent guide, not Padre, so treat our link the same way: verify the hostname you land on. The security model and its real limits are on the safety page.

Why the app renamed itself Terminal

If you open trade.padre.gg and the interface says Terminal rather than Padre, nothing has gone wrong. Padre announced the rebrand to Terminal in November 2025 while the marketing site kept the old name for a period, which is exactly the kind of mismatch that makes people think they have hit a fake. Your wallet, balances and settings are untouched by a name change. Full detail on the rebrand page.

Padre trade, padre gg, trade.padre.gg — is it all one app?

Yes. These are different ways of typing the same destination, and none of them is an official product name. Padre trade and trade padre are people reaching for the app by what it does. Padre gg and trade padre gg are people half-remembering the URL. They all end at the same terminal, covered in full on the Padre Terminal overview.

One caveat if you are researching search data rather than trading: padre trade and padres trade also return baseball results for the San Diego Padres, and that traffic dwarfs the crypto meaning. The unambiguous crypto phrasings are the ones carrying gg or terminal.

Questions

What is trade.padre.gg?

It is the address of the Padre trading application itself — the terminal you actually place orders in. It runs in the browser with no extension and no download. The marketing site at padre.gg is a different address and does not execute trades.

Is trade.padre.gg the same as padre.gg?

No. padre.gg is the marketing site, trade.padre.gg is the application, and docs.padre.gg is the documentation. They are three separate hostnames on one domain, and only trade.padre.gg is where trading happens.

Why does the app say Terminal instead of Padre?

Padre announced the rebrand to Terminal in November 2025, after the Pump.fun acquisition, while the marketing site kept Padre branding for a period. It is the same product on the same domain — your wallet, balances and settings are unaffected by a name change.

Is terminal.pump.fun the same application?

Yes. We compared both hostnames on 23 August 2026 and they served the identical JavaScript bundle — the same build hash. Pump.fun acquired Padre in October 2025, and the terminal is now reachable under both names.

Do I need the PADRE token to use trade.padre.gg?

No. There is no token gate, no staking tier and no fee discount attached to holding PADRE. Pump.fun stated the token would have no utility on the platform after the acquisition.

How do I know I am on the real terminal and not a clone?

Check the hostname character by character before connecting anything, reach it from a bookmark rather than a search result or a message link, and never enter a seed phrase — the real terminal generates its wallet in-app and never asks you to type one in.
