How We Verify What We Publish
Most pages ranking for Padre Terminal queries do not say where their numbers come from. This page says exactly where ours come from, and how you can check them without trusting us.
How we test feeds every claim on the Padre bot guide.
The three sources we accept
- Padre's own properties — padre.gg, trade.padre.gg, and the official X account linked from them. This is the only source we treat as authoritative for what the product does.
- The application itself — what the interface actually shows, checked in a browser rather than described from a press page.
- Public on-chain and platform data for anything measurable, clearly labelled as such.
We do not source product facts from other guide sites, aggregators, or AI summaries. That is not a stylistic preference: it is how the misinformation documented below spreads in the first place.
How the checks are actually run
Marketing sites in this category are single-page applications, so reading the rendered page is not enough — the raw HTML often contradicts it. Our checks are a mix of both:
- Fetch the raw HTML and read the markup, not the rendering — leftover brand names, stale sitemaps and builder-preview URLs all live there
- Render the page in a real browser for anything client-side, because SPA shells serve almost no content to a plain fetch
- Compare the same claim across the marketing site and the live application, which frequently disagree during transitions
- Record the date of every check, on the page where the claim appears
What we refuse to publish
- Numbers we cannot source. Padre publishes no fee schedule. Rather than repeat a figure other sites invented, our fees page documents the gap and shows you how to measure your own cost.
- Company claims stated as fact. Volume, user and trade counts are labelled as company-reported and not independently audited, every time they appear.
- Testing we have not done. If a page does not describe a test, we did not run one. Claims like "we executed fifty trades" are trivially easy to write and impossible for you to verify — so we do not write them.
- Predictions, signals or strategies. Nobody who has them gives them away in an affiliate guide.
A worked example of why this matters
While researching this site we fetched the raw HTML of the pages ranking at the top for Padre searches and searched them for a competitor's brand name. It appeared32 times across 8 of 12 pages. One fees page carried the heading "Axiom Trade Fee Structure". Those sites credit Padre with Jito MEV protection (it uses BloxRoute), Hyperliquid perpetuals, and a Coinbase on-ramp — none of which appear on padre.gg.
That is what happens when a resold affiliate template is checked against nothing. It is also why every factual page here carries a verification date you can hold us to.
How to check our work
- Open padre.gg and compare any claim directly
- For costs, run the round-trip measurement on the fees page — it beats any published rate card because it includes slippage
- If something does not match, send a correction with the page URL and a source
Corrections policy
Factual corrections are applied and the verification date updated. We do not quietly edit; if a claim changes materially the page says what changed. Commercial relationships do not affect this — the funding model is disclosed on the about page and in full on the disclaimer.
