Padre Referral Code & Cashback
Padre advertises 35% cashback on trading fees. Here is how referral attribution works, and what the number does and does not tell you.
Disclosure first
The link on this page is a referral link. If you sign up through it, this site may earn a commission. We may earn a commission when you sign up through links on this site. This does not affect our assessment. We have kept the fee page honest about what Padre does not disclose, and that is deliberate — a guide worth reading has to be able to say the unflattering part.
How referral links work
Padre referral links use a path-based code, in the form trade.padre.gg/rk/<code>. Opening the link registers the referral against your session before you create an account, so the attribution needs to happen on your first visit — not after you have already signed up.
If you have an existing Padre account, a referral link generally will not retroactively apply. Attribution is a first-touch mechanism on essentially every platform of this type.
What 35% cashback actually means
It is a rebate on trading fees, not a discount on your total trading cost. That distinction is material:
| Cost | Covered by cashback? |
|---|---|
| Padre platform fee | Yes — this is what the rebate applies to |
| Network / gas fee | No — paid to the blockchain |
| Priority fee / tip | No — paid to validators or builders |
| DEX liquidity fee | No — paid to liquidity providers |
| Slippage | No — and this is often the biggest line |
Because Padre does not publish its base platform fee, a 35% rebate is a discount of unknown absolute size. It is still real money if you trade in volume — just measure your base cost first with the round-trip method on the fees page.
Getting the referral to register
- Open the referral link in the browser you will actually use
- Create your wallet in that same session, without navigating away first
- Complete setup — password, 2FA, funding — as covered in the setup guide
- Check your rewards or referral panel in-app to confirm the code registered
Should the cashback drive your decision?
No. Pick a terminal on chain coverage, automation and whether the interface fits how you trade. A rebate on fees is worth a fraction of a percent of turnover; choosing the wrong tool for your strategy costs far more than that. If Padre suits you on the merits, take the cashback as a bonus rather than a reason.
