Padre Is Now Terminal
If you opened the Padre app recently and found something called Terminal, you are in the right place and nothing has gone wrong. Here is exactly what changed.
What we verified
We checked each property directly rather than relying on second-hand reports:

The application itself — the part you actually trade in — has moved to the Terminal name, and the official X handle has followed. The marketing site has not caught up yet. That split is what makes the current situation confusing.
What did not change
- The domain. Still
trade.padre.gg. No migration to a new address. - Your wallet and funds. A rename does not touch keys. Still non-custodial, still encrypted under your own password.
- The product. Same four chains — Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain — same automation, same security model built on Turnkey with BloxRoute MEV protection.
- The 35% cashback. Still advertised, now on the Terminal sign-in screen.
The part that actually deserves your attention
Rebrands are the single best window for phishing. Users are already uncertain about which name and which site is correct, which is precisely the confusion an attacker needs. Expect fake "Terminal migration" pages asking you to "re-verify" a wallet.
Two rules cover it. First, reach the app only through a bookmark you saved yourself. Second, no legitimate rebrand ever requires you to enter a seed phrase or an encryption password to "migrate" anything. Anyone asking is stealing from you. More atis Padre safe.
Why most guides still say Padre
Because they have not been updated. Several pages ranking near the top of search forPadre queries were written months ago and describe a product state that no longer matches what you see on screen. At least one is worse than stale — it is an unedited affiliate template built for a different product entirely, still crediting Padre with features belonging to Axiom Trade.
We re-verify these pages against the live properties and date every check. If you find something here that no longer matches reality, tell us and it gets fixed.

+ − Is Terminal the same product as Padre?
Yes. The application at trade.padre.gg now presents itself as Terminal. It is the same multi-chain memecoin trading terminal covering Solana, Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, on the same domain.
+ − Are my funds or wallet affected by the rebrand?
A name change does not move funds or alter keys. Your wallet remains non-custodial and encrypted under the password you set. That said, verify you are on trade.padre.gg before signing anything — rebrands are exactly when phishing clones appear.
+ − Why does padre.gg still say Padre?
The marketing site and the application are updating at different speeds. As of August 2026, padre.gg still carries the Padre branding while the app at trade.padre.gg shows Terminal. Mixed branding during a transition is normal.
+ − Should I still search for "Padre bot"?
For now, yes — most existing coverage, community discussion and search results still use Padre. Expect that to shift toward Terminal over the coming months.
