Padre Rewards: Cashback, and What Replaced Revenue Sharing
Padre has had two reward systems. One is current and simple. The other is widely written about and no longer exists. Telling them apart matters, because most guides still describe the dead one.
Cashback: the current system
| How the account was created | Cashback on trading fees |
|---|---|
| Directly | 10% |
| Through a referral link | 35% — Padre calls this the highest on the market |
Padre’s Rewards page is short enough to quote: every trade earns cashback, paid out in SOL, with an auto-claim panel at trade.padre.gg/rewards. The rate attaches when the account is created, which is why the order matters — link first, then wallet, then trade.
What is not documented anywhere we can find: the payout frequency and thedestination. "Paid daily to your connected wallet" appears in a great many articles and in none of Padre’s own pages. We would rather name the gap than fill it.The referral code page has the full mechanics, and what a trade actually costs puts the rebate against the fees it rebates.
What 35% is worth
Use a figure you recognise. At $50,000 of monthly volume and a 0.1% platform fee, that is $50 in fees: $5 back at 10%, $17.50 at 35%. Over a year of the same activity the difference is about $150 on identical trading.
The direction of the effect is the part worth noticing: cashback matters most in the months you do not make money. A heavy month that finishes flat is a month where the rebate is the only line moving toward you.
$PADRE revenue sharing — historical
The old documentation described a second scheme entirely: hold $PADRE, designate a wallet under Account Overview, and trade actively to raise a reward multiplier from 1x up to4x on a share of platform revenue.
That belongs to the pre-acquisition product. Pump.fun acquired Padre and stated the token would carry no utility on the platform afterwards. Any guide still telling you to accumulate $PADRE for revenue share is describing a system that no longer runs — what happened to the token covers it, and the rename to Terminal covers the rest of the transition.
This is the single most common out-of-date claim about Padre rewards, and it persists because the documentation describing it was indexed for a long time before it went offline.
Reading a rewards claim without being sold to
Rebate offers are the most distorted topic in this niche, because every site quoting one earns from the signup. Three checks that cost nothing:
- Ask what the source is. A rate with no link to the platform’s own wording is a number someone chose. Padre’s published figures are 10% and 35%; anything higher wants explaining.
- Separate the rate from the payout terms. A high headline rate paid on a schedule nobody documents is worth less than a lower rate you can verify in a panel.
- Check it inside the terminal once you are in. The Rewards panel is authoritative; every article about it, including this one, is second-hand by definition.
Cashback is a reason to prefer it, not a reason to trade Padre — that case is on the overview.
Rewards — questions
How much cashback does Padre pay?
Two published rates: 10% of trading fees by default, and 35% if the account was created through a referral link. Padre describes the 35% as the highest on the market.
What currency is cashback paid in?
SOL. Padre’s Rewards documentation states plainly that every trade earns cashback paid out in SOL, and points to an auto-claim panel at trade.padre.gg/rewards.
How often is it paid?
Padre does not publish a frequency, and neither will we. You will find "paid daily" repeated widely online with no source behind it. The documented facts are the currency and the auto-claim panel — check the panel itself for current behaviour.
Do I have to claim manually?
The documentation points to an auto-claim panel, so the mechanism is automatic rather than a claim you file. The panel is inside the terminal under Rewards.
Can I get 35% if I already signed up without a link?
The rate is attached when the account is created through a referral link, so it is not something applied retroactively. If you already have an account at the default rate, that is the rate it has.
What happened to $PADRE revenue sharing?
It belongs to the pre-acquisition product. The old documentation described holding $PADRE, designating a wallet, and trading to raise a multiplier up to 4x on a share of platform revenue. After Pump.fun acquired Padre, the token was stated to carry no platform utility, so treat any guide still describing that scheme as out of date.
Cashback rates, the SOL payout and the auto-claim panel are quoted from Padre’s own Rewards documentation, archived 20 June 2025. The revenue-sharing description comes from its Tips & Tricks page, archived 17 February 2025, and is reproduced here as history only. Both pages went offline with the rest of the documentation in September 2026. Not financial advice.
